Medical Clearance

Hi Everyone, I have my medical clearance on the 17th at HFH and I'm just wondering if anybody can tell me what to excpect. Cheryl..you are right behind me girl!!! What great news!! You must be SO excited. I'm very happy for you! I had a scope on monday and all went well. I have a hiatal hernia (which I suspected, but my previous PCP did not order a scope and had me on the wrong medication which is why I continued to eat rolaid and tumms like candy..but Dr. Carlin got me set straight!) All I have left is my Medical clearance and then to see Dr. Carlin for the second time on the 2nd. If all goes well I'll get my date. I had to lose 5 lbs and I've lost 8 so far.. so that seems to be going well, I just need to exercise more!!! Just wondered what happens at the clearance since I've had all the testing that Dr. Carlin asked for... Blessings, Kim

Kim, Dr. Genaw said that at the medical clearance appt. They just check you over to make sure you are healthy enough to go through the surgery. Especially your heart. I am so excited now. Its finally looking like a reality. Cheryl
