I had sleeve surgery in October 2014 with Dr. Fernando Garcia.  I have minimal scarring and think he did a good job overall.  I would suggest that if you have surgery in Mexico, that you go ahead and line up a doctor close to home that you can follow up with.  Good luck to you.

thinking I need this surgery done to be there for my girls and not feel tired all the time and eating when I am depressed because I can't do much with them. I know every weight loss goal is different and mine might seem small but if I keep going the way I am ill just get worse. I need to do something now. Please any recommendations are helpful... I can afford Mexico, not us. :/

I have been on a few forums for some while now I want to have surgery I just have so many questions it is not the same doing research then here it from people that have truly had surgery their self's. So I have seen so a lot of post here from ojosverdes she is always talking about Dr.Quinones and it sound like he or she has had a good experience with this man. Has any body has surgery with this doctor. And if so how was your experience?

ppl who continually shill for their surgeon are often getting kick backs.

I used MBC I didn't have the problems that you did. the "nurses" always used gloves. they always found the vein the 1st stick.  very professional, kind, caring, and sweet. no infection when I came home just 4 holes and a stomach. the size of a thumb. almost 6 months post op and down 110 pounds

Good luck to you!

I did not use this particular doctor, but did have my surgery in Mexico, so I completely understand the nerves.  Whomever you choose, I would make sure you can find a LOT of positive feedback.  Good luck to you.

Hello everyone,  I'm researching gastric sleeve surgery through WFL center with Dr. Pompa but I can't seem to find any recent information/reviews for her.  Has anyone had a procedure done by her recently and if so what's your experience??  Very nervous about going to Mexico for surgery??!!!

last I heard, ppl were dissatisfied with her after it was found that she makes hourglass  shaped sleeves.

Mid i couldn't find any recent posts, I personally wouldn't use her.

I used them once and had no problem. They are legit.

I have not used them personally, but have heard people say that Care Credit gives medical loans.  I do not have experience with these doctors, but I did have my surgery in Mexico.  Good luck to you on your decision.
