DR. KELLY DOES NOT ASK FOR A DEPOSIT. I HAVE DONE A LOT OF RESEARCH AND I AM GOING WITH DR.KELLY. I THINK I WOULD BE A LITTLE RELUCTANT ABOUT GIVING SOMEONE MY ID AND CREDIT CARD INFO. I WAS TOLD WITH DR. KELLY ALL I HAVE TO DO IS SEND IN A PIC OF THE CASHIERS CHECK.
I THINK DR. ALMANZA WORKED OUT OF THAT JERUSALEM HOSPITAL AND I READ A LOT OF NEGATIVE THINGS ABOUT THAT PLACE.IT IS NOW CLOSED DOWN. SOME PEOPLE HAD A GOOD EXPERIENCE SOME BAD, BUT THAT GOES FOR ANY DR OR HOSPITAL.

I don't blame you for being uncomfortable with that at all. I am going with Dr. Kelly and am VERY confident in my decision. There is no deposit, but I will be sending a picture of the checks to the coordinator that are made out to the hospital and the Dr. to ensure that I have them made out correctly.

What a great and helpful summary of your experience! I go in on Monday here in NJ and feel better for having seen how detailed your post is. It helping to ease my anxiety! Best of luck on the losers bench.
So happy for you! I too am considering using Dr Lopez and Vida. I am a nurse and am most worried about the quality of the hospital and patient outcomes. My spouse plans on traveling with me. He is worried about the safety of Tijuana but I told him that New Orleans is just as dangerous and we visit there yearly. Anything you can offer to put us at ease would be appreciated!!
Same here, I am thinking about the VSG and thinking about March as well. I am expecting to have a decision made by end of month. So I'll let you know what time in March and I would love to meet you and share support!
Heath, called me as well yesterday. I definitely felt as ease after he spoke to me and he has been a VSG patient as well. My next step is to contact Dr. Kelly directly. Still a bit nervous about going to Mexico. But I'll continue to do my research. Good luck!

Dr.Kelly only does a few surgeries a day ... Where I think Almanza does like 10 .... Something to consider! Dr. Kelly's bed-side manner is beyond excellent!

Congrats! was nice seeing all the pictures you posted. I had dr.Lopez as well and would recommend him and Vida hospital is super!!
hey! I haven't researched Dr. Kelly im thinkingabout going with Dr. Almanza, but im scared about the middle man... Im looking at 2 different agencies... weightlossagency.com and a1victory.com did you need to pay a deposit to schedule apt? one of the agencies is asking for copies of my credit card and id both front and back... hope to hear from you!!
