Hello LadyBugsy, good luck on your trip and your new start to a new wonderful life. I am so happy to see someone posting that they are going to San Juan Clinica and hope you keep us posted on how it was. I have been tossed between getting my surgery with Dr. Ramos Kelly or Dr. Ariel Ortiz and need to make up my mind real soon. I am waiting on my passport card to get processed and once I know when the card will be delivered I want to set my date.

you're going to love dr. Kelly! He is truly the best surgeon in Mexico!very available even after surgery you get his cell phone number and you can call him if you have questions. There's no other surgeon in Mexico that does that! He is awesome
Hi to all, I am researching Dr. Jalil Illan and am looking for feeback. I am needing a revision from a RNY that was done in 2004. Any input would be greatly appreciated. I have to go to Mexico due to it being an insurance exclusion in both insurance policies that I have. Thanks in advance.

I am arriving tomorrow and having surgery with Dr. Kelly on Friday at San Juan Clinica....despite the recent blow up on his facebook page. I'm 100% confident in his abilities and his successes.
Keep in mind that you are going to a foreign country, not a spa. You are going for a medical procedure, not to be waited on hand and foot. The culture, people and processes can be something you are not used to. if you are inflexible, and have a sense of entitlement, I'd suggest going to your local surgeon so that you are not disappointed. If you want a surgeon who is tops in his field with results to prove it, and defends his wife, practice and his staff, even though it's in a way we Americans may not be used to, then consider Dr. Kelly.
He has my every confidence. After all, I need a surgeon, not an entertainment/wait staff.
