I do not know how to go about it if someone could help with how they organised their research etc would be helpful ...........I have a brain injury and while I am very intelligent things like trying to sort this out are difficult for me. I do appreciate all the posts but need some specifics and help with how do i choose and organise this. I am sure some of you must have made spread sheets of research or something. Even more specifics on your experience would be good. Thank you
Thank you I would appreciate that very much
Congratulations on your surgery with Dr Alvarez. I have recommended him to a few of my friends and my daughter.
That's awesome, congrats! Thanks for sharing your experience

HELLO,
I AM LOOKING INTO HIM TO. I GO TO PUERTO VALLARTA TWICE A YEAR SO I THOUGHT ABOUT GETTING MY SLEEVE DONE WHEN I WAS DOWN THERE ON VACATION. I WAS GIVEN A PRICE OF $4200 WITHOUT THE HOTEL.I HAVE NOT TALKED TO ANYONE FROM THERE JUST EMAILED.I CANT FIND TO MUCH INFO ON HIM. WHAT I HAVE FOUND HAS ALL BEEN GOOD. I READ ALL THE FORUMS.I KNOW THIS ISNT MUCH HELP. SORRY.
Has anyone used Dr. Hidalgo in Puerto Vallarta? I think he also operates in Tijuana. Any information you might have about him and your experience will be appreciated. I am thinking of having the vertical sleeve. They told me over the phone they order their staples direct from Johnson and Johnson.
I had my sleeve done with Dr. Corvala and went alone. It was fine - I used the hospital wifi to FaceTime & iMessage home/friends. The toughest part was the flight back. At the time I really did wish I'd brought someone but that was more of an "I want my mommy"-mentality post-surgery than a need for anyone to be there.
I have absolutely nothing bad to say about Dr. Corvala or anyone at Hospital Angeles. Everyone was as kind and helpful as possible. I am almost fluent in Spanish and literally forgot ALL of it for two days - it wasn't a problem (I basically just had to say "ice" "nausea" "pain" and "ok"). But after two days when it magically reappeared in my head (lol) it was easier.
Hi Prettypuff,
I went last time with my sister, however this time I didn't want to bother anyone to come along so I went by myself. My family were very worried, and scared however Mexicali Bariatric Center say at least half of their patients come alone. So I went. Well as it had it there were 3 of us and we were all by ourselves, so we visited, had a wonderful time. We would ask each other to go for walks if we were up, made 2 new friends. I was quite thankful after experiencing both, as I felt I rested much more this time, than last time. I completely understand that you want to stay with your original surgeon, as I did as well! If you have any questions at all please don't hesitate to email me or ask me! I am only a week out so I have no idea what results or side effects this surgery will give, but hoping for the best!!
I am just so scared to go to Mexico alone. I also only want re sleeved, to get it done by my original surgeon is 9,999. That's a little higher than yours, so I think I will think I will just work overtime & save my money. The sleeve was awesome, I regret I pushed it's limits. One thing I dread is losing hair like I did previously.
hi Looking into the same process. I will share what ever I get. Good luck.
