Topic: Sleeve in Juarez Mexico

Anyone had the sleeve done through Beliteweight and went to the hospital in Juarez, Mexico?  I have mine scheduled for September, had to make it for September due to my work schedule, and want to try to get as much info as I can.  My family is not being very supportive, but I have exhausted all possibilities with my insurance.  Thank you for any help.

Hi - I'm curious if you had your surgery?  I am scheduling mine through Belite for September with Dr. Rodriguez-Villarreal or Dr. Aramburo and am a little worried.  Anything you can tell me would be helpful.  Thanks

Hi, I had Dr. Lopez in August 2014 and I know he went through some changes with regards to his location and business but it is all for the better. He is more independent now and he has moved to a newer hospital where he has more control. I guess at the other hospital his patients were sometimes being discharged without his consent. I am very happy with him and we have kept in touch via Facebook. He often comments on my update posts and has been a great support for me. Best of luck to you on your surgery. It certainly has been life changing for me and I have absolutely no regrets.

My surgeon was Dr. Fernando Garcia of tijuanabariatrics.com.  Good luck to you in your decision!

I was definitely not meeting protein goals at your stage.  It will come though.

Hi there - I rarely got 60gms in early out. If you like milk at all - a big glass of skim milk over crushed ice was a life saver for me - depending on the size of the glass - 10gms of protein. A few times a day - added up. High protein oatmeal - not sure if you are allowed that, yogurt, and of course good old boost. I know it's difficult - but you will feel so much better if you can get the required protein. Best of luck!
