Topic: RE: Should I bring a companion??

I had my surgery done in Mexico and brought my brother with me, but since I had a coordinator and all the staff at the hospital and recovery house treated me so good, I think I would have been ok if I was alone, just pack simple, and yes, you'll be on medication, but nothing to worry about...you'll do just great...GOOD LUCK!!

Is she still doing surgery?

Thanks

I also did a research on her, and since a live close to Tijuana, I know a few people over there, and she has had patients with a lot of complications, they told me an 18 year old patient died on her internal bleeding, so I discarded using her, instead I used Dr. J. Lopez, they have a great team, they care about their patients, and my results are great.... never had any complication!!!

I used Dr. J. Lopez from bariatricpal.com, he owns his clinic, so there's no chance he'll be moving around, he does Skype with you, so do all the doctors they work with, I did great with my surgeon, I have really good results, and they really took good care of me, they have great all inclusive deals... you should give a chance.

I had the gastric sleeve instead, I did a research and found that it was a better option, I went into bariatricpal.com and had a great deal with DR. J. LOPEZ, I've been doing Skype with him or his staff since then, before and after surgery, they took really good care of me and you get to bring someone with you. I'm 55 pounds of already and feeling great.

I'm researching a lot too. At first I decided on the bypass because my insurance did not cover the sleeve. Now that I'm self paying I can do either. I'm worried about the sleeve and reflux. It can get worse sometimes with the sleeve. I definitely don't want that to happen.

I did not have the RNY in Mexico but rather the sleeve.  I used Dr. Fernando Garcia of tijuanabariatrics.com and went directly to his company, rather than going through a coordinator such as Ready4aChange.  He does the RNY too.  I have to say that they have not really been in touch with me since surgery though.

I am going to a different clinic next week.  I have done a ton of research on here and on YouTube  Maybe search there as well.  Sorry I couldn't help any further.

huh??

Have you used this doctor? If you posted a pic I can't see it... Then again, I'm on my phone right now...

There's a pretty good deal going on for this doctor but I can't find much info or many patients who have used him. Any info you have would be great.

Topic: Sleeve in Juarez Mexico

Anyone had the sleeve done through Beliteweight and went to the hospital in Juarez, Mexico?  I have mine scheduled for September, had to make it for September due to my work schedule, and want to try to get as much info as I can.  My family is not being very supportive, but I have exhausted all possibilities with my insurance.  Thank you for any help.
