Topic: Dr Rodriguez in Juarez through BeLite Weight

Hi - I'm new here. I'm in the process of scheduling my surgery with Dr. Rodriguez in Juarez, Mexico through BeLite Weight. Can anyone give me some current stories of their time there? Or with BeLite Weight in general? I just want to make sure I'm doing the right thing. I've found it a great process so far and I haven't found any bad reviews, but this is surgery and quite frankly I'm scared to death of it. So, I'd like to be reassured :) So if you have any experiences, please pass them on to this scaredy cat!!!

It's always good to hear positive stories all the same. Thank you!

I did not choose this particular doctor, but did have my surgery in Mexico.  While the hospital equipment is probably not as sophisticated as some of the equipment we have in the US, the hospital was definitely very clean, organized and I had a very large room.  The nurses spoke English and my experience could not have been better.  My scars are minimal and I am down 114 lbs, so I would call that a success.  Good luck to you!

Many people on here and other forums have had successful surgeries in Mexico.  Yes, I have heard many good things about many different surgeons in Mexico.

My prayers are with you, Green Eyes! Hope everything went alright. Any updates?

I'm so excited with my own sleeve that now I want to encourage everyone to do it! lol...

I didn't go with Dr. Valenzuela... I've hear good things about him but even better from my guy ;) I'm sure you'll be alright! Top Mexican doctors (stay away from obvious goofs, not just there but everywhere) are superbly trained and their facilities are top notch. You must not worry!

My doctor doesn't do revisions, but the other head bariatric surgeon does. Just for you (and other interested patients) to know.

Hi, Josh

I don't know if my guy is the very best, but he's certainly very good. You probably want to check it out. He is now the surgeon at Dr. Alberto Aceves' (he passed away last year) surgery center in northern Mexico. They're super pro people.
