Topic: Back to running

I finally got back to running their was a while that I started to get lazy but my health is very impotent to me and I did not get this surgery to start going back to old habits. I had got this surgery mainly for my kid watching them grow up and not be able to do any thing with them witch now they are so amazed in how much I have changed physically and emotionally and in the energy. But has the time has been going by I have come to relies that this was also for me when I got out of the depression that I was in I became to relise that you have to love you self before any thing. I have changed so much I wish that I would have always thought and feel as good as I do know.

The truth is I think that if I would have felt so good about myself I probably would have never got the surgery so I believe that every thing does happen for a resin. And this is the best choice I could have made. I think that if you want this surgery and are not sure you should get it it will be the best choice you have ever had you will fell so good about your self you will be happy that you did it. And if  you are looking for a good surgeon I would so recommend mine. I can not say to much about other doctors because I have no idea I have studied my for so long and down to the T and I like what I have read about him and what he is all together. So back to running I can get a little carried away. So I started walking 15min then I got to the point where I was walking 30min then 45 then started to run 15 and so on and so on.

I have so much more energy when I run in the morning I feel great. I recommend that if you have surgery and want to start running take it easiey it is not as easieyas to when you were 15 years old hahah it takes a little by little.

I went directly through Dr. Kelly's office. It was all inclusive with the exception of your air fare. Good luck! Message me if you would like his number.  Linda

Topic: Have seen that not very many post thing here.

I just wanted to say that I have noticed that not to many people go on this site but it is a good place to get ino and answers on stuff.

I had surgery and I came out of it really smooth I thought it was going to be a lot harder because I have read some post that make you think twice. So I had to get the nerve to get the surgery in Mexico and take the change or die in the states because I could not afford the surgery. The truth is is this was the best decision that I could have made. I would recommend this surgery to any body even though people say it not for every body but if you have problems on loosing weight their is not any diet that is going to put you to you normal weight.

I am still very new at this but I feel like I had it a long time due to the fact on how much weight I have lost. So if any body get worried about having surgery in Mexico I had a really good experience and I love my doctor he did wonders on me and I would do it again if I had to.  I hope that my posting day to day can help people that have so many problems with weight loss. I will keep up and I do a day to day posting just to try to inspire people like so many did to me.

Topic: Shedding the weight.

I am so excited I took some pic on Valentine day with my hubby and I was so amazed how different I really looked.

You know how when you loos weight you just do not see what every body else does well this happen with me.

I know that it is because I see myself every day and so you really do not get a idea on how much you have really lost or how you look.

So yesterday I got my pic developed and WOW.... I have lost so much weight in my face and in my body I look so different I could not believe the different from when I started from now. i am so happy that this is really working out how I hoped it would.

I could say that this surgery that I had is a some thing special but the truth is is that is a tool and we decide how to use it and if we want to use the tool right. For those who are new and have not read to much on my experiences I was a self pay patient and I had my surgery in Mexico with Dr. Sergio Quinones the sweetest doctor I have ever in my life met. The facility was very clean and peaceful and every body speaks Spanish. Their was a few nurses that was not fluent in English but always had some one to speak for them. Every thing that I needed they where their for me and I did not have any problem's with any body. I had surgery 3 months ago and have lost 40 lbs from the start of the pre op diet tell now. If any body has any questions about surgery I can help with what I know.

I know little because I am also new but with what I know I can help if you are planing to have surgery. And want to say hi to all that keep up with my post and report

Topic: RE: Gastric Sleeve Revision

I had my sleeve surgery a month ago with Dr. Fernando Garcia through Tijuana Bariatrics and it was a great experience. He also does revisions as there was another woman there at the same time as me who was having one done. I was sent home with medications and post-op instructions and diet plan as well as email addresses and telephone numbers for Dr. Garcia, the coordinator, and the nutritionist. I have been in contact with the nutritionist twice since I've been home and she is wonderful (you also meet with the nutritionist while you are in Tijuana). Dr. Garcia creates quite a small sleeve; he uses a 32 bougie and stitches over it. My restriction is very good, keeping in mind I'm only a month out. Let me know if you have any more questions; I'm happy to share my experience. There are plenty of excellent surgeons in Mexico and as long as you do your research (which you are), you should find one that is right for you. Best of luck!
