someone to travl with me!!!!!

yesterday i finally told my best friend that the other friend that was supposed to travel with me would not be going and i would be going to mexico alone. she refused to allow me to go alone and she has just booked a flight to go along with me. i simply cannot beleive this because she is getting married in july and she is moving to new york in june to be with her fiance and her birthday is june 15th and in the middle of all that he is going to accompany me to my surgery because she does not want me to go alone. i nevr thought that anyone would do something like this for me. by the way this is also the girlfriend that gave me $1500 toward my surgery so i would not have to change my surgery date. some people are so awesome. i am eternally grateful to her. so genie my angel- no need to worry. i will not be alone. just 1 week to go. i feel like it will never get here. i am sooooo excited.

Hey Patty! It was so good to hear your voice today! I am so glad that you will have a traveling companion. She is truly an angel in disguise. Well, maybe not in disguise, she is so totally an angel! I wish I could have talked to you more, but you know how it is at work. By the way, I don't work there anymore. It is a long story, but I quit today, so don't call on that number any more. I'm so glad you have such a good friend to help you out and be there for you during this journey! Friends like that are few and far between. I too have a friend like that. She's going to travel down to Mexico with me, my husband and our son Kaleb, for support. She's also offered to watch Kaleb the two nights that I'm in the hospital so that my husband can be there with me. I'm so blessed to have her in my life. I wish you all the best in your adventure to Mexico!! If you've got the time, definately do some sight seeing. Mexico is full of color and culture and so much fun!! Cheers! Lorraine
