Everything is set!!!!

I have my date April 28th. I had my funding and then lost it. Thought I would have to postpone the surgery for a few months. Then my best friend called to ask how things were going. I told Fred that I'd hit a wall and didn't think that I would be able to get it done as soon as I thought. Fred (who lives back in Oregon) has been my friend for 22 years would not accept that scenario. He insisted on paying for the procedure. I absolutely refused. He has a wife, kids, a family. I couldn't ask him for that kind of money. He was quick to inform me that I am his "brother from another mother" and refusing the money just wasn't an option. He owns a succesful construction company, and assured me that if he couldn't afford it he wouldn't do it. I am so blessed, I write this post with tears in my eyes, and love in my heart. I feel so bad for all of you who are struggling with the financing. I am living proof that keeping the faith, can and will pay off. I thank all of you for your support, and I will see yah all on the losin' side. Richard

OOHHH RICHARD THATS SO WONDERFUL. YOU ARE SO BLESSED TO HAVE A FRIEND WHO CAN HELP YOU OUT. I TOO HAVE COMPLETE FUNDING FOR MY SURGERY FROM MY GRANDMOTHER. SHE HAS WATCHED ME STRUGGLE THRU THE LAST 6 YEARS TRYING TO HAVE THIS SURGERY.(READ MY PROFILE FOR DETAILS). AND A FEW MONTHS AGO SHE GAVE ME A GIFT. I NEARLY FELL OVER AND BEGAN CRYING. I TOLD HER I WOULD PAY HER BACK. BUT SHE WAS VERY FIRM AND SAID THIS IS A GIFT!!! I AM SO HAPPY FOR YOU. CINDY

Thanks Cindy. When I told Fred that I would pay him back, he said just stay alive, and take advantage of this second chance. I agreed to the deal.

Hi Richard, Isn't wonderful to have "angel" friends?!! My friend is also helping me. She's letting me keep the proceeds from the sale of her car; somewhere in the area of $8500 - $9500!! She is such a blessing, just as your friend is for you. I'm very happy for you and glad to know everything is set to go. We will be selling the car in May so just as soon as the deal goes through and I put the money in the bank I'll be calling Rosella to book the first open slot!! That's great Richard. I was having trouble with finding the money also. My Dad insisted on giving it to me. I hated to take it, 53 and still getting money from Daddy, but I am. I hope to have a date soon myself. Joan
