And a lot of other places too. Will this keep me from having my surgery on 22nd?? I live in the mountains of North Carolina and there's lot of native remedies around here. A friend gave me some alcohol with yarrow in it and it has helped my fingers TONS--but it is now going wild on my tummy, sides and under bust. It seems like steroids (like Medrol dosepac) would be a bad idea right now. Anybody expereinced this? Can you pray for me about this?? I'll call my doctor tomorrow to get his advice too. I could just because I have been working soooo hard to stay healthy!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm a gardener and the plants had no leaves on them yet. Thanks--Sunny

Oh Sunny! I will definitely be praying for you! You might call Rosella and see if they know of anything to put on it and if it would affect you if it was still there. I would think it would because it could get inside during surgery. But then, I am NO doctor and they may have ways around that! I haven't had PI in a long time thankfully. But it seemed like at least 4 years in a row that I had really bad cases of it. Here are some things I remember I did: 1. Calamine lotion 2. Colloidal oatmeal baths 3. Ivy Dry and most important of all NO SCRATCHING!

Oh Sunny...I am so sorry for you! I can't imagine that is too comfortable. The alcohol may irritate your skin more, but the yarrow is good. Maybe some calimine lotion from the drug store would help sooth it a little quicker? I am sure you will have it cleared up in no time... Until then wear a suit of armor in the garden! I don't want you to have to postpone your new beginning! See you in Ensenada very very soon!! Love and hope to you! Tera

Hi Genie and Tera--Thanks for your support! I spoke with Dr. A today and he does not feel like it will interfere with my surgery! I'm doing lots of praying and lots of not-scratching. Again, thanks and hugs--Sunny
