DENIED AGAIN!!

Patricia- Don't lose heart! There is a way--and from my experience--it was better going to mexico. I also have BCBS (of Kansas)--they have a written exclusion and, according to an obesity lawer specialist, they have NEVER approved this surgery--no matter how many co-morbidities. So-- I never even tried to appeal--I just went straight to Dr. Aguirre. In hindsight- It was the best move I ever made. I also didn't tell many people, only my husband and several people from work knew. I didn't tell my mother--she was mad when I got back and told her--but I didn't want to worry her. Do what is right for YOU! Many of us suffer from the "people pleaser" syndrome-- sometimes you just have to do what is right for you in your heart! Others will come around when they see how much better off physically you are after losing weight..... Research, research, research, talk to others who have gone before you-- and then make your own decision.
:::::getting off soap box now!::::::: good luck! Sandy
Hey Tricia - Sounds like you have fought the good fight. I went to Dr. Aguirre in Mexico and would HIGHLY recommend him. I know that all of my friends looked askance when I told them I was doing it, but I read and read and read about him, his process, and his staff and I had ultimate confidence in my decision. It was well-founded. I have had no problems. No nausea, no pain, no nothing - except weight loss. I'm down 46# and feeling better than I have in ages! Please email me if you need any info about Dr. A.
