Anyone having surgery in November with Dr. Wilhelmy?

I'm scheduled for VSG with Dr. Wilhelmy at Mexicali Bariatrics on 11/20. Anyone else close?

Hi, I'm vey interested in getting VSG, I just started my research and since my insurance won't cover it I'm considering having it in Mexico. I read you just had your surgery. What should I look for in picking a doctor there. There are so many different groups out there.  I keep seeing information about Dr. Ortiz with the Obesity control group. How many days did you stay there it appears 4 days is the norm. Did they do a leak test to make sure the procedure was sound?  how much should it cost I see rates from $4200- $6000. Sorry for so many questions... any help you provide is appreciated. Thanks
