I have my surgery scheduled for 12/9/2013 with Dr. Quinones. I am so excited to be having this done. I will be going to Tiajuana for the sleeve. What should I brink with me? Also how do I make myself comfortable on the return flight (I live in Florida).

Get a small pillow to put between your tummy and the seatbelt, and ask for wheelchair assistance at the airport rather than trying to haul your luggage and walk all over yourself.  Walking is good, but if your gate is very far, it will be too much right after surgery.

Thank you. I do have a pillow but never thought about wheelchair assistance. I will be flying into Dallas ft worth and heard it is a large airport. I will be calling them asking for that.

I heard a lot of people mention gas x strips, I hear the gas is unbearable and this helps. I haven't had surgery yet and now I may not at all. Dying in Mexico is something that scares me. I wish you the best of luck!!!

I heard about gas x as well. I had my gallbladder out a few years ago and fortunately had a great experience with no gas. Why wont you have surgery? Why do you think you will die in Mexico?
