Last meal hahaha

Well I start my pre-op diet tomorrow 7/8/13. So today I am preparing my favorite meal. It is a simple peasant dish that I ate a lot as a kid because we were poor. and as a kid I hated it but now as an adult I love it and it brings back good memories. It is a pot of ham and pinto beans...mmmmm I am only making a small batch so there will not be any leftovers in the fridge to temp me. lol 

Sounds like something you can eat after surgery, but in a smaller portion!

yes eventually I will be able to have it again but like you said in a smaller portion after all beans are high in protein. I was just thinking about all the stages you have to go thru. but it will be worth it to get healthy.
