My Passport came today

Just to let you guys know, (in case anyone was wondering about applying for the passport)      

I applied for my passport card at the post office on Wednesday April 24th.  I paid expedited service and overnighted the application.  They received it Thursday April 25th.  It was mailed to me exactly 1 week after they received it (May 2nd) and I just got it in the mail today.  So that was 11 days from the day I applied... including mail delivery times both directions, and including weekends.

Just in time for my trip Thursday.  I know I cut it close and it was making me nervous!

Boy thats good to know.  My surgery is July 10 and I am trying to get my docs off for the passport this week.  I think I will probaby be in plenty of time but your post took some of the anxiety away.  THANKS
