Revision!!

Hi everyone! I had a vsg on May 2, 2011 and went from 270 pounds to 158 pounds 112 pounds sounds great and it was so close to my goal of 150 pounds. My problem is...I'm always hungry, and cravings are crazy! I have gained back 38 pounds. It's freaking me out and I have tried to remotivate myself, increase water, protein and exercise. Nothing is working because I feel empty, shaky and on edge all the time.

I think it's time for me to look into revision surgery before this gets out of hand. I so don't want to go back where I was. I need some help.

Does anybody know a GREAT surgeon in Cancun? I need to find out costs and get all feedback, whether good or bad

I don't know of any in Cancun, but my surgeon was Dr. Alejandro Lopez in Puerto Vallarta.  It was so beautiful there - definitely a vacation destination if that's what you're looking for.  He and the hospital were great and the hotel was gorgeous.

I believe his fees are in the $7,000 range depending on which surgery you want and his website says he specializes in revisions.  Might be worth a look.  There are several people on here that have used him or are going to.  Good luck!

I also used Dr. Lopez for the DS, and paid 7500,  Very nice doc, and overall a good experience. Would not recommend revision to RNY.  If you already have regained, you might as well get the best surgery available, and be done with it.
