All I can know about Dr. Joya

Hey Joanne... Why is it that on the Yahoo egroup you claim that Rumbaut was your surgeon but here you have Ortiz listed as your surgeon?  I'll grant you that perhaps my memory is wrong, I will go back and check my emails and see. This certainly explains why you did not want anyone calling Dr. O's office to verify that information I provided.  Instead you just insisted everyone should believe you vs. calling the SOURCE and getting the information first hand. *****ally is the patient coordinator here?

Hi Smiley, I had surgery with Dr. Joya and if you want to pm me I will tell you all about my FABULOUS experience with DR. Joya and his staff. A lot of what I read on hear is bull. I do not know about the other surgeons in Mexico but what I can tell you is what I experienced with my surgeon. Good luck to you on your journey. Tanya

I am with Tanya I just got back from Mexico and Dr Joya nad his team are wonderful, the hospital is lovely and I have not had one of the many compalints I read about pn this board. No Pain no constipation nothing bad. You can pm me and if you want to give me your number I will call and you can ask all of your questions.

I had lap RNY with Dr. Joya on 2/19/08 and nothing but good things to say about Dr. Joya and his staff. Puerto Vallarta was wonderful! The hospital is far surperior to any hospital here in the States. I was scared to death at first, but after first meeting with Dr. Joya and all of the other doctors my mind was immediately put to rest. As far as Dr. Joya doing 350 surgeries a year, I would not be suprised if he did not do twice that amount. When I was there in Puerto Vallarta Dr. Joya had patients full on two floors of the hospital and I know that in one day he had four different surgeries. He is a very experienced doctor. I had Dr. Joya do the sleeve on 2-1-08 and I can't say enough great things about the resort you stay at, hospital, the staff, and Dr. Joya. Everything was great there is not one bad thing I can say. Email me if you have any questions.
