HI Susan! I went to Dr. Aguirre in Mexico. He was wonderful. You can search for bariatric surgeons in the upper left hand link...just click on Mexico when the map comes up. From there you can see a list of surgeons and read reviews and view their websites. I highly recommend Dr. Aguirre though! Good luck with your search. Feel free to PM me if you would like more information! Amanda

Hey Susan, I'm another of Dr. Aguirre's success stories. You are welcome to check out my personal blog: http://theworldaccordingtoeggface.blogspot.com/ to read about my weight loss journey. I'm also just 9 weeks out from plastics in Mexico. Here's a great OH link to research some of the most popular bariatric surgeons http://www.obesityhelp.com/morbidobesity/professionals/showd ocs-international.php?Country=Mexico Click on testimonials to see what their patients have to say about them maybe PM a few and ask about their experience most are very willing to share. Best wishes, ~Michelle

I am a VERY satisfied patient of Dr. Valencia. He is probably the most accredited doctor in Mexico that I have found. Enough so that even UCLA has invited him to their David Geffen School of Medicine as an Assistant Professor for bariatric and robotic surgery. If this man can be welcomed by UCLA as a teacher, I think he knows what he's doing.  And his bedside manner? The best. His team is wonderful www.alighterme.com is where you can find him Jen

Click on the link here for the Find a Bariatric Surgeon...its near the top of each page. You can click whatever country or state you are interested in and it brings up a list of docs in that area.  I have decided on Dr. Joya in Puerto Vallarta. I have talked to alot of his patients and have heard nothing negative so I am confident in his abilities. His website is www.drjoya.com Good luck.
