Thank you I will try to click on someones ticker ha ha ha that sounds funny.

My Anthem BC/BS and my Tricare insurance companies called me today and they APPROVED my surgery. Cloud nine snoopy dance move over rover here I come. ha ha ha

They changed my endoscope test to January 21 and they gave me a surgery date of January 25. I am in shock it is less than a month away.

Happy is an understatement. Tonight I decided to share my news with ALL of my Facebook friends and it made me feel really good to see all of their posts showing support for my decision.

Yeah I got a date... I got a date.. happy happy joy joy

Yes, It does look like we will be pretty close in Surgery Dates! We can keep in contact on each others progress! I am going through the EMMC-SWLP. I think that the doctors there are great!

As of right now I have gone to the seminar and support group, did my sleep study, had a stress test done, pulmonary test done, physical therapy and nut. class done. I saw the dietician and I also had my pysc eval. done and passed that. My next step should be seeing the surgeon which I hope is soon. Looks you and are pretty close and will probably have our surgerys fairly close together. Good luck.

Yes, I have a good support system. That is what is getting me through. But I guess posting that online was a way to make it real and tell the world that Mike died. It has been such a tough time in our family. My beloved Uncle died the week before Mike and his wife of 63 years is having a hard time. Just a tough holiday season for us. But I'm muddling through. Thank you for responding.....nice to know there are people out there who didn't even know Mike but that still care.

I'm hanging in there. Each day seems a little better, but it is a struggled. I work from home via a VPN and tried to do a little work this morning, but it is too soon. I'm giving up. I will be so glad when I feel better and can get up and out of the house.
