Hmm Lets see here my pysch eval was on December 21st and I had my appointment with Dr Toder on February 11th. Ins submitted on Feb 16th and found out Feb 22nd that I was approved. They would have submitted the day of my appointment with Dr. Toder or possibly the next day but I had to have some blood work done that they had to submit to ins.
All and all it was not a bad wait. Did you say you have completed your 6 month dr supervised diet?

I noticed we have the same surgeon. I was wondering how long did it take you from your psych eval to get your meeting with Dr. Toder? My psych eval is March 16th and I'm trying to get an idea of how long from there! :)

Congrats. I just found out I am approved also. I have my surgery on March 14th and I start my pre op diet Monday.

I need a colonscopy and an endoscope before I get a date. But my appointment for that is in March so I am thinking end of March or Mid April! I don't care I AM APPROVED!!!

I'm sure you'll do great, and Dr. Toder from what I hear is excellent/one of the best, so your in great hands. It's so exciting isn't it?! if you need anything just give me a hollar, I'll help anyway I can

I called my surgeon's office today and found out that I was approved for my Gastric Bypass Surgery. My office date is March14th. I have to start my pre-op diet on Feb 28th. I started crying when they told me. It has been a long time coming. I have been at this since April of 2010. I need to find a protein drink that I like now. :)
