If you are following the plan, you will lose. I tend to lose 3-4 lbs at a time. Then I plateau, and a week or so later, drop another 2-3-4. It seems to be very individual.. Hang in there. Susan

well i have found that I eat a whole lot less and am not snacking.
I had an egg and half a yogurt and was stuffedd.
I lost four pounds and shawn lost five pounds and lulu lost 4 too.
he seems to think it has helped him eat less. but i have not talked to him in a couple of days.
I gonna try to do two shakes a day and a small meal for a few weeks and see if i can lose more weight. The first day was the worse but it got better after that.
have a great weekend

Patty,
How did you and your son do? I am curious if you feel it helped you or not! :)

I am so damned shocked that I don't know if this is for real or if I am dreaming. I weighed in today after some time of avoiding the scale and I nearly dropped when I saw the numbers. My weight is 217.5 I am 1 pound 5 oz away from my goal weight that was projected. In 2 years and 2 months I've dropped 250 lbs. A lot of mixed emotions right now. Tears, laughter, excitement, disbelief.....

Hi Jessica,
Try as best as you can not to focus on the scale too much in the beginning (easier said than done right?). Many people experience a stall or two in the first couple of months and it can be easy to get caught up in the numbers. As long as you are following your surgeons plan and getting in your water and protein and vitamins the weight will come off. As far as how much everyone else has lost goes...it is going to vary a great deal depending on their plan and also on how much they needed to lose to begin with so its very individualized. I just went through almost three weeks with NO weight loss so I completely understand your frustration and concerns but just keep doing what you should be doing and you will be successful :)
