I use a straw if I am out at a restaurant. I don't trust that the glasses are cleaned properly and I don't want my lips touching where someone else touched! I know that's wierd...but that's me. i do sip through the straw tho, never would try a big swig!

Also, Jeanine. there are meetings in Waterville and Augusta that I go to. I know you had surgery in Bangor and everything but we're all going through the same things so maybe you can make one of those instead....?

This Thursday I have a bunch of appointments including my final consult with the surgeon and hopefully get my date and hopefully it is sometime before the New Year! My surgeons office takes a couple weeks off before Christmas so *fingers crossed*!!!

Jeanine,

We have a meeting on the mid-coast area (Rockland) once a month too, on the first Saturday of the money (so it's the day after the Bangor meeting, which is the first Friday of the month.) If you can't make it to the Bangor meeting, the 10:00am Saturday meeting would be an option too!

Contact me back if you want details. I don't think it's any (or much) further than going to Bangor, just in a different direction.

I am only 47 lbs to my personal set goal weight! I am super excited! I figure if I keep losing at the rate that I am currently losing then in less than 4 months I will be at my goal weight! I am hoping that I can speed up my weight loss but if I dont I will still be happy. I will even be happy if I dont lose another pound!
