Allison,
I have some BSN desert bannana cream and a body fortress cookies and cream and I think also vanilla....most of them are all full since I only drank them preop. I can't tolerate them post op and get all my protein everyday mostly without shakes. If you would like any or all of them I live right in waterville so its not too far away and you are welcome to them. It stinks buying a bunch and spending the money and then not liking them! Let me know if you are interested.

My surgeon will be Dr. Huy Trieu at Maine General Bariatric in Augusta. He will be performing single incision laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy. Whew! Say that ten times fast! LOL

Topic: Got My Date!
So, the earliest I can get in to be sleeved is eith January 2, 2012 OR January 9, 2012. The reason for the two possible dates is because my surgeon wasn't sure if the OR is scheduling surgeries the day after New Year's Day. SO EXCITED!!!!! XD

Hi Allison,
Personally, I swear by the EAS Chocolate Whey protein powder. They taste the most like a chocolate shake (to me) (thick and foamy, especially if well-shaken)...they are all pricey, but an occasional trip to Sam's Club makes it worthwhile, because you can get a large bag there of 100+ servings for a very reasonable price...(less than half the cost per serving of smaller packages.)
Didn't like the vanilla myself. I stick with the chocolate...

Topic: Almost there
Hi Folks this is Debbie from Norridgewock and I am so excited! Because I am only 33 pounds from my goal weight!!! I manage to exercise 5 days a week at the local rehab center. And I work out with a personal trainer 2 days a week as well. Today I did 105 minutes of cardio exercises, worked on the weight machine and of course the dreaded crunches. But I feel great and I am looking good. No more need for my C-pap machine, I got a new left knee in May and then next year I get a new right knee. My mobility is great my husband and I are hiking some on the weekends. And Life is good!!
I can't wait until the Waterville support group starts up since I haven't been able to get to Bangor due to transportation issues. I hope to meet and greet many old and new friends there!
Enjoy the Holidays!
