Topic: Menu and excercise tracker
This was listed in the last issue of our program's newsletter. It's free and available to anyone with any type of surgery. It is sponsored by the realize band but don't let that stop you.

I started tracking my menu, exercise, weight etc. yesterday and am liking this better than subscribing to other sites.

I like this number! From my highest, 320 , I had 160 pounds to loose to get to the low end of my weight range. I have lost 81% of excess weight.
From surgery 278, I have lost 73%
Thanks for the boost- I needed some good numbers to spur me on with this "back on track" phase.

I'm 6 months out and I've lost 72% of my excess weight. That seems like a lot of weight really fast, so I'm not sure if I calculated it correctly.
My HW (right before the liquid diet) was 262. CW 166. I went to an online chart that said for someone 5'3", 130 should be the ideal weight. Did I do it right?

Topic: RE: Got rejected from EMMC for being too health
Thanks for all the advice. I did speak to someone at EMMC again today and they referred me to Lynn Bolduc but she's out till next week. So hopefully she can help me out with this.
Thanks again guys

Me again, I'm feeling good about the weight loss, I've got nearly 4 days till my surgery and I only need to lose a couple more lbs to safely be below where I was at my last weigh in, phew. Now I'm worried about my sore throat that turned into laryngitis! I have no fever, no cough, no chest congestion just a bit of a stuffy nose and a very hoarse voice. I am a therapist so I talk all day and after two days of working I sound bad (but feel fine)! I am hoping it will heal by Monday, I'm done work till after my surgery. I've been trying all kinds of wacky gargles. Cayenne pepper tastes NASTY and BURNS.

Also who did you talk to? Was it just the office staff? I'd ask to speak to the program coordinator, Lyn Bolduc, she's awesome. You need more information about why.
Good luck!

I have two different numbers. I have lost 84% since my highest weight and since surgery I'm at about 77%. This is including the weight I've gained in the last month or so. Of course I'd like to get those numbers higher, but I'm happy if this is it.
Kelly 57% is wonderful, of course we all want perfection, but when you think of the difference between last year to now, it's such a HUGE accomplishment!

I am struggling with getting motivated to do exercise too. I am definitely healed enough from surgery almost three months ago but I find the motivation elusive,

Hi - Nice to meet you all. It's a weird journey we're all on. Nice to have companionship!
Topic: Fallen off the wagon
Ok, so it's been a LAZY winter and early spring for me so far and I have not done well with food choices, but I am pulling up my bootstraps and determined to get back on track. I don't want to feel blah anymore and that's the way I've been feeling lately, resulting from personal issues I'm sure. I'm not happy with what the scale says nor the way my clothes are fitting.
Today I went for a 3.5 mile walk while my boys were gone and I started using Dailyplate again to log my activity and food consumption. My gym membership expired and do not forsee joining again in the near future...need the extra money elsewhere. So I will have to make due with the nice weather and utilize my Fit Board when I get the chance (when I'm not tripping over my kids bc they think it's hilarious to watch mommy exercise). Definitely need to get back into a routine of at least 3x's a week for exercise.
