Topic: RE: "The Easy way Out"
Well said. We have all been through this. I don't know how many people tried to change my mind about the surgery or accused me of taking "the easy way". If they only knew. I now suffer from ulcers that don't seem to want to heal. Would I do the surgery again? You betcha! I can now run 3 miles, non stop, play softball, go on trips and outlast my kids in most things. I am much happier person since having taken "the easy way". Missi

Glad to hear you are hanging in there. The only protein I liked was unjury, and still to this day. Hope you find one you can tolerate.

Well it has been 8 days since I had my surgery!! It goes by soo fast, it's unreal!! I am feeling great and doing alot better. I'm getting in all my fluids, walking and resting when I need to. The only thing I am struggling with is my protein shakes. YUCK!! For some reason I cannot stomach them. I've tried 4 different ones, plus isopure so far and they all make me nausiated. But I'm working on it. I can't wait to go to the doc's on the 18 th and get these staples out, they are driving me crazy!! Well I hope the rest of you are doing well and I wish all of you luck with up comming surgeries.

I also was cleared by the social worker and now waiting to hear from them....My doctors office is setting me up with the Barium swallow..Did you have to do that?
