Sometimes you can find the syrups at TJ Maxx or Big lots.  Wal Mart and Hannaford have limited flavors in the coffee section....just make sure they are sugar free.

Netrition.com will ship as many as you want for $4.95 flat..........not a bad deal!

That's the way I felt, too. You'll be ready. Keep reading and thinking positive thoughts.

Topic: three weeks till surgery
Since January I have been getting ready for this.  I went to all the meetings and did all the homework  and complained the whole time that I was ready and wished I could get by all the "stuff" and just get to the surgery.   Now that it is 3 weeks away, I am not in nearly as much of a rush.  The 2 week protein fast has me a little nervous.  I tried 2 meals and it was HARD!  I have enjoyed reading the posts on this site and especially the site to get flavorings for the protein drinks.

I feel fine now.  I ate a popsicle for dinner just to be safe though.  It makes me extra nervous because I have to go to a restaurant on Thursday and I'm super paranoid about what to pick.  If I can't find something safe I'll just drink something, water or milk, LOL.  I am allowed peanut butter and have never had an issue with it so far.  I really think it was the pesky roast beef...blech.

Tomorrow will be better, I'm just grateful I was home when I did it!!!  Can you imagine otherwise?

Tammy, I feel your pain!
That is such an aweful feeling, especially if you don't actually ; it happened to me the other day when I ate chicken salad.

One never knows what will make us sick...however, I won't give up on chicken salad; I will try it again sometime in the future and hopefully I will be able to tolerate it. It happened with pork.

I hope you are feeling better!

Can we really try PB? creamy? crunchy? Have you tried it earlier?

One big thing I'm learning is if it doesn't taste good or feel right - don't eat it. That's a big mindset change for me! So far, it's helped me avoid what's happened to you!

Cheers, Be good to yourself the rest of today!
