well I have to have surgery on June 16 i have a groin hernia Dr Haung called it a defect in the human body. So i going to have lots of med issues in the next few weeks suppose to have my bottom teeth out and see my lung doctor that week.

YEA! The only regret I have regarding my band is that I didn't do it sooner. It is an essential "tool" and I have no doubt you will use it to it's fullest. June will be here before you know it, then BANG...you will be celebrating your 1 year bandiversary...CONGRATS!

Sounds like you are doing AWESOME! Scary stuff to be told about the liver disease! (I was told that too!) Stick to the plan and you'll be at goal before you know it! Congrats!

Just keep in mind why you have jumped through all the "hoops" to get this done! It's SOOO worth it! Hang in there and keep us posted!

Yesterday I had my 2 week check up and everything went great!! They took out my pesky staples, which was awesome!! They advanced my diet to pureed foods...YUM!! So I ate some cottage cheese when I got home. Then pureed steak and gravy..YUM YUM!! Anyways I have lost 15 lbs since surgery on may 4th!!!! Holy crap!! This surgery has been such a blessing!! My surgeon Dr. Bang, informed me that my liver biopsy showed signs of liver disease from all the fat!!!! Scary huh?? I knew I was doing this for a good reason. That just scared me to hear that. But he said it will reverse itself now!! Another wow moment for me is I hit my 1st goal!!! I finally weigh less than my husband!!!!!!!!!YAY ME!!!! I'm just SUPER EXCITED and wanted to share with you all!! Thanks

You will do great and it is normal to feel nervous. But most will say that the first three days are the hardest. You are doing great!!! Wont be long now you will be on the losers bench with the rest of us!!!!!
