lol Tami. Just catching up here. Awesome feeling, Im sure. I went grocery shopping today, and between the bit Ive lost since surgery 4 days ago and the liuids before, I kept having to tug my jeans up higher. I was smiling to myself a lot today.

31 lbs. lost before surgery! My goal is 150lbs. My surgeon's goal is 110lbs. I just can't imagine that weight right now. Maybe someday . . .
I haven't tried the blog feature yet . . . busy blogging for school. . .but I will.

I'm at the Asa Adams school in Orono. I took 2 weeks and 2 days off. My surgery was on a Thursday.
Next year, do you want to twitter with my class (and some other classes)? It's wicked cool, very easy, and safe.

congrats! sorry it was emotional for you, that will ease, Im sure. I went back today, too, although only for an hour or so, and MUCH less stressfully, as my hubby owns the business and all I do is sit and answer phones and do billing. 
You are doing GREAT! Have you used the blog feature here? It helps me to get my feelings out there and deal with them, sometimes just writing down the sad stuff helps. (((hugs)))

I teach 2nd grade too! Where do you teach? How long of a leave did you take? It was so hot and sticky in my classroom too. Ugh!

my surgery was 4 days ago, May 20th. I went to work today, did a teeny bit of grocery shopping, even made a pot of beans. So far so good.
