Everyone is so different I haven't had any trouble with any meat or eggs.  Bread and past forget it.  It gets easier Tami, I promise!

White bread will never be your friend. There is nothing nutritious in it and you will lose your taste for it.  I do a half an english muffin once in awhile, that is as close as I get.  I don't do pasta either unless its Dreamfield's (low carb) and very little of that or rice or potato.  It gets easier.

I think it's that way for most of us. I read somewhere that it takes five years for our minds to catch up with our body images. That first glance in the mirror is what you look like, if you keep looking you will see the "old" you.

So it's been one month since my surgery and I'm still (mostly, LOL) glad I did it.  I'm down 35 lbs and mostly feel good.  I had another bout of vomiting last night after chicken and a little potato.  Not sure if it was too dry, too much, too fast or ???  But chicken and I are in a fight now.  It makes you wonder if you'll ever be able to eat normally but I suppose I will eventually.  I need to post new pictures and also take measurements again to see progress.

Ruth, you can actually manage sixteen ounces? wow. So a cup and a half isnt unrealistic, then. Two cups would kill me, I think. Im doing a cup for now, the fullness I get at 11/2 makes me not want to stay at that amt. Maybe someday, huh? How long did it take you to be able to do 16 oz?
