Do you know of any other bariatric surgeons in Maine who perform revisions on patients who have had a VBG?

Wow 18 lbs is amazing!  Don't expect that every week though or you'll get disappointed.  You are doing great and I bet you'll really enjoy the soft foods :-)

Topic: RE: Dietician appointment

Hi Terry!

So are you all aproved through your insurance and everything?  If so, that is FANTASTIC!  I hope you get your letter soon letting you know what is next!

No, they didn't say how many times I have to go...I think it is until the dieticians think I am ready...a lot depends on them I think, which of course means a lot depends on me!  =)

So far so good logging things in.  Did you have to do that too?  I have to do it right up until the day before surgery.  I hope that is sooner rather than later!

Well, off here for now.  The kids are having friends over tonight for Smores by the fire...I'm going to only have 1...but with a peanut butter cup instead of just chocolate!  Been good all day, waiting for that!

"Talk" soon...and enjoy your weekend!

Hi Heather,

So glad it went well for you and I am sure you will do great at logging in everything you eat.  You are one step closer!!  YIPPY!!  Did they tell you how many times you would need to see the dietician?

I filled in my online registration for MMC and now waiting for a letter from them to tell me what steps to take next.  Hoping to get it this week!  Keeping fingers crossed!

Hope you have a great weekend!!

You inspire me!    It is so nice to get on here and hear how well you are doing!  Made it through my dietican appt, and it wasn't bad at all...flew by pretty quick.  My only disappointment was that I quit Mt. Dew, and thought when I stepped on the scale I would lose some weight, but instead I gained 3 lbs!  Bummer, but that's ok, I'm dealing with it, and still not touching soda!  Started my food log today, and it''s a pain, but sure makes me be honest about what I eat!  Thanks again for sharing your progress!!!!

Ok, went to the dietician appt.....it was very informative and Ashley was very nice.  I started my logging of everything today...thought about putting it off, but decied to start instead.  I go back to see them in just over 2 weeks and will take my log with me for them to go over.  Learned some helpful stuff there.  The logging is going to be a royal pain, but I am doing it online to make it more interesting, and will print it off to take with me.  So now, everything that passes my lips will go into the log.  Wish me luck!  I'm gonna need it!  =)

THis surgery works. Don't worry. You don't loose every day, but in the long run the weight loss will be phenominal.

QUIT WEIGHING YOURSELF DAILY!!!!! Just work the program
