Tami,
Here I am...kicking you in the fanny...
I know how hard it is to get into the exercise routine...I am terrible at keeping with it.  You will keep losing, don't stress!  I bet with those inches lost, you fit into a smaller pant size.  Remember those things count too, not just the scale or the measuring tape.  Good luck to you, and keep working at it...you'll get there!

Topic: 6 inches? Seriously?
So I did the measurement thing today and it's only a difference of 6 inches, that doesn't seem like much to me but who knows.  I lost 3 from my hips, 2 from my waist and 1 from my bicep (or bat wing!).  I know other parts look different but I didn't start out measuring my ankles so I don't really know.  I kind of feel like the weight is coming off so slowly but I bet if I got better at exercising daily it would move faster.  I'm going to write exercise times into my calendar and treat it like an unbreakable appointment and see if that helps.  I suppose all the gardening must count for something???  I got my new bike but haven't ridden it yet other than up my road a little.  I need a kick in the fanny to make the most of my tool!

Kick away...

Have you tried going to see Drs. Ban\g and Loggins in Lewiston?  I don't know much about revisions, but this kind of thing is all they do...the weight loss stuff.  The dieticians and everything is right there.  They are wonderful, and sooo helpful...I drive 3 1/2 hrs. to go there I like them so much.  Just a helpful suggestion that might be worth checking out.  Good luck!

I went through menopause several years ago.  But since surgery I've had days when if I didn't know it was impossible I'd of sworn I was going through PMS and then the last 2 days I've had hot flashes just like when I went through menopause!

What the heck is going on?

31 lbs. lost before surgery!  My goal is 150lbs.  My surgeon's goal is 110lbs.  I just can't imagine that weight right now.  Maybe someday . . .

Hey! I just got home, whew, talk about an interesting stay at the hospital lol. Everything went well, the doctor was glad I had lost weight (turned out I lost 20lbs from my consult with him a month ago so he was pleased), and I was able to have it done laproscoptically but he said my "fat distribution" made it challenging but he was able to do it all. I almost didn't get to come home today because I was having problems passing urine, but I was finally able to go thank god lol. I'm sipping on my water and trying to get use to the funny sensations when it hits my stomach. Not much pain at all, and I was told to just take some Tylenol if it hurts. Gonna go take a nap, just wanted to update you
