Isn't this so much fun!
I went and tried some clothes on in stores today! I couldn't believe what sizes I was fitting and how things looked!

Keep up the good work!

31 lbs. lost before surgery!  My goal is 150lbs.  My surgeon's goal is 110lbs.  I just can't imagine that weight right now.  Maybe someday . . .

Topic: 3 weeks yesterday-some changes
I am wearing a shirt I havent worn in years. My jeans are sagging in the butt. Every day the scale shows some change, even if it is just a half pound I celebrate it. I am having no pain at all, my scars are healing up very nicely. I seem to need a small nap in the afternoons, half an hr does the trick. No dumping, no vommitting. Im eating decently, would love a little more variety  though. I am mostly happy with my surgery, my only complaint is a minor heartburny feeling after eating, but I think I may be eating too fast, so Im working on that. Looking frwd to my jeans getting a little looser in the actual waistband, so I can go buy a couple new pairs. :)

Sorry I've been MIA, life is busy with the end of school year. I had my 6 week check up with Dr. Todor and the nutritionist on Tuesday. They were very pleased with my progress, I have gained 2 lbs of muscle mass apparently (no clue how!) and continued to lose well. I am now down 39 lbs from my start weight, seems slow to me but I guess it's not really. I bought a new bra on Tuesday cuz the girls were swimming (gotta save up for a boob job I can tell!) and I've been able to dig out some size 18's that fit with plenty of room (not quite ready for 16's though). I am cleared for any foods now (well except the ones that are bad for us, fatty, sugars, carbs etc). I had salad today and it was delightful! I had stir fry last night (about 4 bites but it was delicious!). No one who doesn't know about the surgery has said anything so either they are being polite or they can't tell! I need to post a new avatar pic because I think my face looks thinner and I don't like looking at the old fat face picture . good luck to anyone about to have surgery and I hope to keep up better now.

I remember how excited I was for "REAL FOOD", just go slow and be careful, it's sucky when it comes back up!

Going to a support group is a GREAT idea. And even if I ask questions here, I also ask my nut. and surgeon.

You are on the right track!
