Great to hear from you Kate!  I buy the bra at Victoria's Secret that's in the back for the "old ladies" It has great coverage, I always joke that I don't really have boobs anymore, it's just armpit skin!

20 pounds lost during two week pre-op diet.

Good morning, I am a little embarrassed to be writing, as I have been off the board for so long..Life, i guess.
Maintaining most of my weight loss, but gained about 6 # since march, stress with daughters wedding I guess. Can't put my finger on exactly what I am doing differently, but have a feeling it is snacking...and not paying attention, an old, OLD habit. SO it can happen, reach out and undo 2 years of hard, hard work.  I also am not exercising regularly, will walk maybe twice a week, but not running at all.   keep thinking running after two 2 yr olds must be enough but obviously not.
Vit D def, at my 2 year check up, so took care of that but honestly with my deductible can't go back and have another 1000K worth of blood work done, can wait til next year. I am feeling more energized.
Living with all the sagging skin is harder than I anticipated.\
Looking for what everyone else is doing for a good no make that a great bra that gathers in the side sagging skin...
thanks for still being here! I will try to do better...Still the best decision I have ever made. I have my life back!!!

Happened to me too.  None of my stitches dissolved.  This was the first surgery I've ever had.  She told me that if I ever had to have surgery again, I probably should mention it since my body just doesn't dissolve stitches.  I actually had to go back in at around 4 months because a stitch in my bottom incision had worked it's way through.

That happened to me, too, on several of the incisions. Dr. T. just trimmer/pulled them all out at the 2 week post op appointment. Either call and make an appointment or wait until your next time. In the meantime, cover them up if they are bothering you.

31 lbs. lost before surgery!  My goal is 150lbs.  My surgeon's goal is 110lbs.  I just can't imagine that weight right now.  Maybe someday . . .

Happened to me also.  It is just a stitch that didn't dissolve.  She told me that this happens alot.  She just pulled it out with tweezers.  It you don't feel comfortable cover it up with a band-aid and she will take it out on your next visit.

I have a tiny but annoying piece of what feels like monofilament wire poking out of my topmost incision. Its been there since surgery. I tried to pull it with tweezers, but there isnt enough to really grab and it kinda makes me nervous, dont want to unravel my innards lol. But where all the other incisions are healing very nicely, this tiny section of the top one (by my sternum) is becoming a little red and irritated. If I called Dr Toder tomorrow, would they maybe see me, or should I go to my own doc? It catches on my shirts and feels weird, ide like to get it out.

Topic: Elastic WaistBands
Originally, I wasn't going to shop for real clothes until just before school started - a couple of pairs of shorts and maybe a sundress type thing.  But, since I'm going to an international convention in Denver the week of the 23rd, I need to have things that look professional.  So, I went shopping yesterday.

At Kohl's I found skirts - straight ones!-with no elastic waist bands- 3 sizes smaller!!!! and at Bean's I found non-elastic jeans - 2 sizes smaller!!!

It's really a strange feeling and I can't really tell how it looks on me.  But, it's wicked cool!
