Hey Terri,
Heard from Phoebe that you and Ryan were moving here.  Will have to get together to meet once you've settled in.  Hope the trip up goes smoothly.

That's exciting!  I thought you were going to say your pants actually fell to the ground!  I had to give away several more pairs because I was really afraid my pants would be on the ground.  It's so exciting isn't it?

Keep up the good work,
Tami

Well all,

I made it thru............... can't say i did so without any issues but here I am. I am two weeks out tomorrow and feeling a LOT better. I am having a real hard time getting my protein and water in daily but I will keep trying. I am down 16lbs from the day of surgery.
Tomorrow I am allowed to start eating canned chicken, mashed potatoes, applesauce and scrabbled eggs. Can't wait for that, I thought maybe  I would try one new thing a day and see how that goes.

Hi NatSnap,

Congratulations on your weight lose thus far!  I have to agree with you about fear of failing.  I often do not do things because of fear people will critize me.  I cannot wait to start losing so I can gain some self esteem back and not miss out on life.

I have been waiting since I filled out my online registration (May 21st) to hear something from MMC!  I got my letter Friday when I got home from work and I am so, so, excited to start my journey!!

So I really havent lost much since the first inital week after surgery, but all of my summer shorts have to be pulled up constantly because they are too BIG!!  This is very exciting! I probably should have done measurements but whatever.

I am trying to get motivated to do Couch to 5k.  A goal I have is to do one by October. But I need to get started. I think I am a little scared because I am afraid that I cant do it.  I think this is a common issue of over weight people fearing failure so they dont even try.

I will work on this.

Well  the diet coke in your garage wont be anygood in a few more months and they you can happily throw it away lol.   Get rid of it now.   is my advice.   Soda  is just not good for us when we  dont eat very much.   My dad says splenda gets him fat.  I wonder if there is any truth to that  and when he gives up diet coke he loses his belly.  lol.

I found that  when i lost the weight i wasnt as mean or *****y.   You are lucky to have your  hubby for support.  He understands.   You  do not live with your sister so i am sure it will pass.  but dont go  crawling back.   You did nothing wrong.

Since my  hernia surgery i cant eat more than a couple bites  so my tool is working again.   maybe the scale will move a little more.

Take care and you are doing great!!!!
