my problem kelly is that i am a school bus driver and hold a commercial drivers license so in order to keep my license i had to get rechecked to be off machine i am so glad it has finally happened tho woo hoo

Do you still supplement with protein shakes?  You should come over to the RNY board and check out the daily what are you doing/eating today thread, It really helps keep me in check and I get a lot of great ideas on things to eat to switch it up a bit.

Great news! I sleep without mine from time to time now and hubby says I only snore a little when I am on my back.

Wow  Amber  you are doing so  good.!!!   I  am so proud of you.

Yes that old snacking issue  comes back but  we need to make sure our snacking is low calorie  like popcorn and  veggies.  I  am doing great   so glad my rny  works well.  We went on vacation and  i  did not gain any weight.  That  was so great!!!

I   don't need my cpap machine any more.

woo hoo I heard from  dr oldenberg this morning.   He  said   i passed.  have to keep my weight down would like to see me lose another  5 pounds.

I see him in six months and if my weight still down i will not have to ever use that machine again  and i wont have to see him unless i have problems down the road.

woo hoo!!!

hello my oh family !!! sorry it been a while sence i posted here but things have been very busy here .. things are going good with the weight loss i think i am now down a 160lbs and 2 years now i had my 2 years appt and things want good i will need more b-12 shots a month and vit-D but other then that things are good and i loving my RNYand loving life so much more !!! well i have not lost any weight for a 2 months now  but i had a few med probelm pop up so i think it may have something to do with it and the snacking come back in to play again damn snacking lol and now i am on Light Walking ONLY becuase i will need to have back surg as i had a few probelms sence about 2002 and it did not get better just got alot worst !!! but just wanted to stop by and give a update on me and see how everyone eles is doing ??? well take care all and hope to see u all soon

I had surgery June 12, 2008, Dr. Toder did my surgery. I weigh as of June 25, 2010 before Dr. Grover did surgery, I weighed 227 lbs. I still need to lose 60 lbs, according to Dr. Toder.

Topic: plugging along...losing inches
I'm a little over three months out and have lost about 57 lbs.  I am within 10 lbs of onederland and can almost taste it!  I've gotten a lot of comments on how great I look, how much I've lost etc. Now it seems everyone notices which is great.  When they ask how I did it I say low carb, lots of protein and exercise.  All true :-)  I feel like the scale is stuck for weeks now, but I have lost a bunch of inches since I last measured so that was exciting.  I did my exercise this a.m. and am going to really try to step that up, the skin is really saggy so I need to build some muscle especially in the bad wings and ab region.  I tried the eliptical for the first time today and it's way harder than a treadmill!  I could only do 5 min but then switched to the treadmill and free weights to finish.  I'll add a minute a day and eventually get better.  It's sure a good workout though, I had sweat POURING off me.  I had a lot of birthday cake in my house last week due to my twins turning 10, we ended up throwing away a LOT of cake, it's the first time ever.  I just didn't want it and when I did have some I'd just have a bite and that was plenty.  Our garden is very plentiful and we are eating lots of veggies.

Guess that's the scoop, hope you all are doing well and enjoying summer :-)
