Hello everyone,  Many of you are new and dont' know me.  I was on OH, for a few years and havn't been able to log on cause I couldnt' remember my password, and I just figured it out.  I started on Facebook and got way too involved and I'm trying to ween myself off all the Drama and Bull S$^&T in my husbands family, so I decided today to comeback to my old friends and make new ones.  SO a little back ground.  I live in Poland Maine, have the band, have struggled with it, but, have not given up.  I had an over fill a year and 1/2 ago and had most of my restriction removed and didn't go back to dr's for a whole year for more and I did struggle with a few lbs but went back in april for my annual and got a small fill and I have managed to loose those few lbs and a few more.  It is VERY slow, but i'm very happy with my band,  it's been a learning process and even after my last fill, It was starting all over again.  so,  MY beginning weight was 233 (I had gone up to 260 a few years before and lost some, but when I started gainning some back I decided on wls)  so, i am down to 197 now.  I'd love to hear from you banders out there,  when I was on here most of everyone of my friends were RNY patients and although they were all supportive and I love many of them, and have made many dear friends I felt pretty lonely with my band.  I'm over that now.  this process is so personal and we all experience different things,  including our own demons.  My demon is enjoying coctails.  well, I have gone from a NON exerciser to walking 12 miles a week and kayaking and snow shoeing a few times a week.  I used to do weekly challenges on here and getting to know you posts.  I will try to get to know you all and hope you/me.

Hugs to you all,
have a great day,
Cheryl

I never thought of liquid scripts.  I see my PCP next weekand I'll ask about it.  Thank you very much.  I tried the SF applesauce and it didn't help.

Can you get scripts for any of them in liquid form?  Are you allowed sf applesauce or yogurt?  How about crushing them into something soft like that?   I'd call your PCP or surgeon if it continues to be a problem.....they may have more answers for you.  Good luck!

Topic: Need Your Help

Before surgery I was taking 13 pills a day.  Now I am only taking 5 but I have always had trouble swallowing them.  Especially now that I only sip sip sip.  So I have to take a large drink to down the pills and then I suffer for about 30 minutes.  I have tried crushing them (gross).  I am suppose to take my metformin with food and I can't do that either.  Any suggestions - I am open to any ideas you may have.
