It should happen within 14 business days. Have you already made contact with a surgical weight loss program? They really help get things going for you. And keep you focused!

How long from the time that you went to your PCP til you heard from the Surgeons office? It has only been 3 days since my visit to my PCP and the referal specialist was out the day I went. So my curiousity is peaked as to the length of time it took for you!!

Topic: Fifteen Month Get on Track class (two months late)
I had my fifteen month Nut visit/group today.  I have lost more than 60% of my excess body weight since surgery (66% since the two week pre-op diet started) and am 33% fat still. Should be under 30% to be considered healthy for a woman.

The bad part was that my lack of formal exercise over the Summer really showed as I lost 19 pounds in total since May, and 10 pounds of it was muscle.  That isn't good, although I do still have 137 pounds of muscle mass (but I'm supposed to weigh 125.... hmmmm.....).

Anyway, just thought I would share that you can still lose weigh even this far out.

Oh, then I went out to eat lunch. I didn't want to eat fast food so I found this mexican restaurant that lets you order ala carte. I got a chicken tostada and my whole sit down meal came to $4.19!  The tip was more than my lunch! LOL! It was very good too, and I would definately eat there again.

Yea I know who Dr. Loggins is. When I lived up here before I went to him. He would not do my surgery without me loosing 100 lbs first. I knew i couldn't do that so I decided to wait and when I moved to SC I found a great Dr who would do it. I hope that everthing works out for you. My surgery was a year ago yesterday and I would do it over again in a heartbeat. Goodluck!!!!
