Topic: 2 week liquid diet

So I'm having my sleeve surgery on August 20th so I'm on my 2 week liquid diet and I'm not sure if I'm doing it right. I'm only taken in about 1000 cal. and about 60g protein.  I have been light headed for the last 12 hours. Can anyone tell me what else I could do?

Thank Sharon

I will certainly be there on the next support group. Now that at that time I will be on the loser's bench I could certainly use some healthy support!

Tuesday is the biggest day for me, Surgery Day!

Grant me the strength to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference.

At the meeting in Bangor Friday  night...

Hope when the summer is over, and we're deep into fall, we start to see some of the familiar faces again...hard to do, when you want to make the most of the summer!

Hi April!

Thanks for your reply!!!  I'm sorry it took so long for me to get back to it, I kinda forgot about my post!

How are you doing?  Doing well and gettin' healthy?

Topic: Skin Surgery
Hi all i am having  a pannilectomy on August  7 in waterville with  Dr  Schassberger.

I will be in over nite.  and yes my insurance is covering it for medical reasons.

I  do know that  i will be sore for a few weeks  but everyone i have talked to  say that they are pleased that they did it.

It is not a full tummy tuck  it is the lower.   and yes i probably will lose my belly button. but if that means a little more  tissue that can be removed then it will be ok.

I have been so blessed that i have not had  any bad side effects and that i am  healthy again

now to get me back to exercising after this surgery

He said to walk walk walk and that i plan to do.

Take care everyone hope you are having a great summer.

I did a sister trip to  new york city and washington dc  and then to ontario with my husband and then to my sisters house in  Dieppe New Brunswick.
