My dr's office referred me back beginning of May. After going back and forth EMMC finally excepting me into the program but then I had to wait 6 months just to do the Seminar and support group. I was so bummed that I had to wait. Then the week I finally get to go to the seminar the WLS coordinator called me to make sure I am coming, I of course said yes that I have been waiting forever to get in. She apologized and then told me that my insurance is now requiring a 6 month dr. supervised diet and exercise. I was not impressed. I could have been doing that 6 months ago while I was waiting. My PCP already had me do my sleep study test and my pulmonary test to try and get things done faster. I have my first appointments at the WLS clinic Dec. 1st.

I am so sick of the rain!  I'd rather see snow! I am also nervous about the Holidays and food. Hopefully we've learned enough to keep ourselves from overindulging and to eat protein first then the rest.  As for coversation your pretty good at it so that shouldn't be a problem.

Are you going to the meeting on 11/16?

Anyone else tired of the rain?! rain rain go away!  How is everyone doing?  I had a good time at last Fridays EMMC meeting, hope everyone is doing well, kinda nervous about the holidays coming up, I've always looked forward to eating all the yummy foods...but now I guess I'll actually have to make conversation with my family lol.
