Everything sucks, insurance insists they wont pay, terrified of my future

Ive been blocked every turn... i have bcbs of nc... and they say my policy doesnt cover anything related to obesity... my Dr wrote a reallllly good letter stating how urgent it was for me to have this surgery.. and i got the big fat ( no pun intended) ... "oh well who cares go eat a twinkie because we arent helping you, no need to appeal the answer is NO." All i can do is cry about it, which only makes matters worse because my husband sure doesnt understand. I am so desperate... i havent any idea where to turn next... guess i needed to vent, i cant imagine anyone will have anything to say that can help at this point.

Hi penny, it seems when it comes to insurance companies they either are great or they really suck big time. Bc/bs/ma it takes about 6 months but they approve everyone and that is who I had now I have bc/bs/il and they don't cover it and as the woman it's a none issue with them we just don't do them! I wish I could say more but I can't good luck,
