Hi All - I had VGB 12/00 and lost close to 140# and was loving life for the first three years. Over the past 18 mos or so I have gained back 50+ and am just as miserable tonight as I was when I began the WLS journey. Has anyone in Maine had a revision surgery? If you have, who was your surgeon? Dr. Margolis did my VGB (he and his staff were soooooo wonderful), but he is no longer doing any type of WLS, so he is not an option and my best friend died after Dr. Aslam did her surgery wrong, so he is not an option to clean my car out, let alone cut me open. I look forward to your answers and wish you all the best! Kim

Dr.Donald Clough at EMMC is one of the Best. He is head of the surgeons for WLS at EMMC and been in it the longest. His office is right at EMMC. Check him out. Good Luck! God Bless. Loni RNY-OPEN Feb. 17th. now 7 weeks out and 22 pounds lighter. Milo, ME

I want a revision. Dr. Clough did RNY on me on May 1, 2001. I lost almost 150 pounds. I was down to 137 at my lightest. He thought I could lose more. I didn't I actually gained to slowly over the first five years after the huge weight loss. This pass year I added another twenty for a total of 30. Do you know if Dr. Clough does revision and what is the cost. What insurances cover it, etc.? I went to the Back on Track presentation at the Nutrition Center., but can't find anything I am doing wrong. The only thing I can think of is that I have been able to eat larger portions of certain foods, but I cut that out when the scales were going up. I don't know what to do. I am 168 pounds and only 5 foot 1, so any pound you put on me you can see right away. thanks heidi cyr in mars hill maine:-S
