I have my surgeons Appt. Question Please

I have just recieved my surgeons appointment date. Recieved it today. It is for this coming Mon. Jan 23rd. WOW so fast. I am having Dr. clough and have to have an Open Gastric Bypass. Does anyone know how long it takes after seeing the Dr. Monday before I hear from Maine Care and how long after that before I recieve my surgery date? Also if there is anyone who has recently had the Open Gastric Bypass could they please write me and let me know some about it and the recovery afterwards? Thanks Loni
