I HAVE ALLERGIES!!!!!!!!!!

I am so mad, Today i woke up with a stuffy nose....I am sure it is just allergies so I called my dr and they said I could take anything over the counter for cold /flu symptoms...any suggestions...I dont want this to prolong my surgey date so I need something to make sure this goes away!! PLease PLease let me know My surgery is in 6 days...Laurie

you are in luck, i work for a physician. we usually suggest using a saline nasal spray to break up the congestion in your nose, but before i can suggest anything else what are your symptoms? cough, congestion? let me know and i'll tell you what i think!!

my nose is stuffy...so I called my drs office and he said I can take anything for allergies benadryl..claritain..alavery..so I got sudafed and I asked the pharmasist.tammy said I need to aks the anastisiologist but i dont know how to get ahold of them now and I want this to go away i dont want to wait untill monday 30 mgs is what they are let me know..Laurie

I think I am all set I called the surgons office and the dr that called me said I could take sudafed...Thank goodness I would have been so upset if they had to rescedule just for allergies... So any more changed I will let everyone know...Thanks so much for all your help...laurie

Hi, The same thing happened to my sister before her surgery, which she had last week. I told her to take tylonol sinuis. It worked. Plus the Dr said as long as her boogers were not green she was okay. Lisa
