The time is getting closer.....

I am down to 10 days to wait untill I have my surgery....It seems to be creeping along....I am all ready though I just have an ekg to have on tuesday and then I am in for the longest week of waiting in my life. I just wanted to comment on the ones that dont want to go thru all the things eastern maine makes you go thru.. I think it makes the process go quicker because by doing all the tests they are making sure very quickly if you are healthy enough for this operation...It makes me feel good that they did not just rely on my decition to do this alone,because when you make up your mind to do something you forget to look at some very important things that could cause you harm. I am very happy I am with the emmc surgical weight loss team so far everyone I have met is wonderful and I have only been 4 months from first mentioning it to my pc to surgery..I dont think that is to long of a wait! It has taken me 31 yrs to make the decition whats 4 more months??

Well I for one will be thinking about you during your surgery!! I don't know about you but I am freaking out!! As soon as I got my date I have been nervous. I know that you will do great. You have a lot of people behind you. I hope you will share your experience with me!!

I think I will do great too...I have been getting more and more nervous every day...I am in good hands thats for sure. I will keep you posted and will definalty keep in touch lisa...you too will be great and we will be on the losing side together. Laurie
