Arm Pains

I was wondering if anyone that had the surgery has gotting sharp pains from there elbow in a thin line backwards to the arm pit. I had surgery 8/29/05 and ever since I have been getting a sharp pain on my right arm from my elbow in a thin line to my arm pit. I was told it was normal but as of yesterday my other arm is starting to have this problem. Any help out there?
