incession seaping!!

Hi: Was just wondering if anyone else had any problems with their incession seaping after the surgery. Mine started last night and this is after 8 days out. It kind of scared me a bit but the doctors nure said it was common. Was just wondering if anyone else had this problem and how long did it last. Thanks

David My incision leaked like crazy. I worried also but the Dr. said if the liquid coming out was just clearish red, not to worry. However, my incision line did get infected and the stuff coming out turned a pinkish, brownish cloudy yuck color. If that happens, call the Dr. and he/she will put you on antibiotics and clean out and pack the incision. Not painful, just a pain in the butt to do. Good luck Cindy
