No group support meetings in Augusta

Hello all, I am so dissappointed that the group support meetings have come to an end just as I really need them. I totally understand that the last one that was held know one showed up to accept the 3 holding it, that was terrible. I was at the hospital with my DH or I would have been there! Was wondering if there is anyone interested in having one in or around the Augusta area? We could hold them at the Maine General Medical center if that would be doable for anyone. Please email me and let me know as I feel these meetings for all who have had WLS is vital and we all could help each other over some rough spots. Paula

Hi Judy, My WLC-Maine group was meeting at the hospital on the last Sunday of each month on the 2nd floor conference room 4a or 5a..I still have it scheduled for the remainder of this year so we could do that if that sounds good to you and would love to have others come as well. Hi Paula, I am very interested in a support group for the bypass if that is the type of meeting you are talking about please let me know when and where and I will be more then happy to go. I really miss the ones we had for Dr. Aslams group.

Are you talking meetings in general or band meeetings? I know there are there are meetings in Augusta for the band. Mondays at noon and weds at 6 PM at the hospital. They are required if you have your surgery with maine Surgical associates. If these are the ones that ended, when did this happen?I was at one two weeks ago and there were about 17 people there.
