Bangor, Maine - recommendations????

I am going to be in Bangor on Saturday night. I love Karaoke. Is there anyone from Bangor who could recommend a Karaoke bar and perhaps advise on some nearby accommodations? I am travelling to Prince Edward Island, to deliver my mother-in-law and her car to her new home. Thanks Karen G

i dont know about any bars but days in is a nice motel and really reasonable most of the hotels there are debby 200/132/115? i hope

Karen, I can't carry a tune, so I don't know of any Karaoke Bars in Bangor--I do know that there are quite a few bars in that area though--so I don't think you will have trouble finding one. As far as places to stay--I would recommend either Days Inn on Odlin Rd or Country Inn At The Mall. When I go to Bangor, I stay at one of them--they are nice and reasonable too. If you want to email me, I will check with some friends and see if they know of any karaoke bars--I am sure some of them do and I will get back to you. If you need anything else, let me know. Jill

Karen, I asked around and some friends gave me the names of some bars that did karoake, but they weren't sure what nights some of them did. I called all of them to find out, but none of them that I had are doing it this saturday night. Sorry I couldn't help you out with that, I hope you find some place and hope you enjoy your time in Bangor. Jill

Thanks so much. That was so nice of you. I have sent emails to the Chamber of Commerce, several nice hotels and no responses. Yours was the first response to my inquiries. Even if we don't find a Karaoke bar, I'm sure we can have a great time there. My last trip to Bangor was in 1993. Back then, I ate a restaurant called "Pauls" and the lobster was fantastic.
